Abstract

Like other environments of Arabic literature, the poets in Sicily dealt with a set of purposes and topics that others dealt with. And the Sicilian adopted different poetry styles in east and Africa. Their Poetry was according to their environments. With that its true to say that sometimes Sicilian environments became different Such as Descriptive Poetry and Ghazal, and we do not forget that Sicily was the one who redeemed its poets with longing for it, and longing for its soil, so the poetry of Nostalgia Poetry came to be almost distinct in its style and heat.

All the poetry purposes adopted by the Sicilian poets are limited to the following topics: Praise, Description, Ghazal, Wines poetry, Al-Risa, Nostalgia, Brotherhoods, and social poetry, including describing the Approximation of play and fun, a revolution against the violators of Sharia, and then criticism of some social manifestations.
