Abstract

Interpretations of the Noble Qur’an have generally taken care of the sciences and arts that help in understanding the interpretation of the verse, the intent of the Qur’anic sentence, and the grammatical and syntax issues in it, and the resulting changes in meaning. Among these sciences: the science of grammar, as some interpretations dealt with grammar in detail, such as Tafsir al-Bahr Al-Muhit by Abi Hayyan, and some of them took care of mentioning the important grammatical issues.

The Quranic interpretation (Tafseer) "Adwaa Al-Bayan Fi Idah Al- Qur'an Bil-Qur'an", by Imam Sheikh Muhammad Al-Amin bin Muhammad Al-Mukhtar Al-Shanqeeti (died on 1393 AH), from the aphorism interpretations, his methodology is: Attention to Grammatical issues related to the interpretation of the verse.

An applied study is conducted in this research article on the grammatical issues in the interpretation of "Adwaa Al-Bayan", through the surahs: Al-Israa, Al-Kahf, Maryam and Taha, which are related to the subject of my PhD thesis in the Arabic Language.

Sheikh Muhammad Al-Amin Al-Shanqeeti tends to inclining often in presenting grammatical issues, and he is influenced in grammar by Basrah school of thought, in his grammatical choices and opinions, sometimes he may take the words of the Kufic school as well, indeed he was not an imitator of the two schools without discrimination, but rather studies and discusses opinions, and chooses from the syntax what he used to serve The meaning, as he has opinions on some issues that are unique to them, and he did not precede them, and he does not investigate in conveying all opinions, but rather he transmits and lists what was closest to the truth, and he may separate and elaborate on some grammatical issues, especially those related to matters of faith, or the provisions of jurisprudence or direct readings.
