An introduction to the book “Munabbehaat Ibn Hajar” & determination of the original author (A Research Overview)

Abstract

Manuscripts are a very important part of the intellectual legacy of the Muslim Ummah, which is one of the most important documents of the Ummah's cultural and national existence. This is the reason why Muslim researchers emphasized the protection of manuscripts and tried to pave the way for it. Regarding the research of manuscripts, we researchers are suffering from many difficulties. Our ancient scholars have presented solutions to most of these problems, but there are some manuscripts regarding which many types of different opinions pass through our eyes. The manuscript is also Munabbehaat, which is known as Munabbehaat Ibn Hajar. And this book is often compared to Hafiz Ibn Hajar Asqalani, who has a high position and rank among Muhaddith scholars. But there is a difference of opinion about the real author of this book. The book contains a thousand correcting sayings, which include a large number of hadiths, but none of the hadiths have been quoted in the book with full authority, nor is there any reference in the book from which it can be inferred. Find out from which books these hadiths and sayings and traditions have been copied. Most of the traditions are the subject of the book. The aim of the research under review is to determine the original author of the above-mentioned book and to clarify his methodology and to highlight the introduction and scholarly services of the personalities to whom this book has been erroneously attributed.
